The "Glass of Smiles" is more than just a cocktail; it's an experience. It's a celebration of Asian flavors, masterfully crafted to bring joy and a sense of sophistication to any occasion. Encapsulating the essence of Asian flavors with a contemporary twist. At its heart is the spiced Asian cordial, a rich and fragrant concoction that combines the citrusy and herbal notes of lemongrass, the fiery zest of chili padi, the warm spice of young ginger, and the unique citrus aroma of kaffir lime leaves.

Ingredients (Serves 1):
  1. 90ml Spiced Asian Cordial
  2. 10ml Lime Juice
  3. 45ml Tanglin Singapore Gin

Spiced Asian Cordial

  • 500g Lemon Grass Smashed and Rough Chopped
  • 2 Chilli Padi Deseeded
  • 100g Young Peeled Ginger
  • 250g Kaffir Lime Leaves
  • 750g White Sugar
  • 1500ml Water

Directions:

Spiced Asian Cordial:

Combine smashed lemongrass, deseeded chili padi, peeled young ginger, and
kaffir lime leaves in a large pot.

Incorporate white sugar and water into the pot with the ingredients

Bring the mixture to a boil, then cover with cling film and let it simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.

After simmering, strain the mixture to remove solids and allow the cordial to cool. This can be made in advance and stored.

Glass of Smiles Cocktail

Combine the spiced Asian cordial, lime juice, and Tanglin Singapore Gin.

Carbonate the mixture

Strain the cocktail into a glass and garnish,if desired, with a slice of lime or a small kaffir lime leaf.
